The Philadelphia Phillies have a few players who deserve serious All-Star Game consideration this season, with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Cristopher Sanchez, Jhoan Duran, and maybe even Zack Wheeler deserving All-Star nods this year.
But Brandon Marsh, in a breakout season, also warrants serious consideration. But with so many great options for the NL outfielders for the All-Star Game, it's not going to be easy.
However, as USA Today's Bob Nightengale shared, the first update on All-Star voting revealed some Marsh news that Phillies fans will love to see.
Phillies fans will love Brandon Marsh's All-Star voting update
For the NL outfielders, Marsh received 668,191 votes, which placed third in the NL among outfielders, behind only Andy Pages (800,496) and Ronald Acuna Jr. (693,472).
Marsh is just ahead of Michael Harris II, who has 645,473 votes, and every other outfielder is well behind the Phillies' beloved outfielder, having a breakout season.
While there are some great outfield options for the NL All-Star team, Marsh is deserving of being among the top vote-getters this season.

He has a .322 batting average with eight homers, 32 RBIs, 36 runs scored, 12 doubles, two triples, and a very solid .848 OPS this season.
Seeing Marsh make the All-Star team this season would be very cool for the Phillies, especially since he does deserve serious consideration for the honor for his breakout season.
While there might be better outfielders who received fewer votes than Marsh, like Juan Soto, James Wood, Corbin Carroll, and Jordan Walker, Marsh getting such strong results in the first All-Star vote update is exactly what Phillies fans will love to see.
