Peter Rosenberg jokingly urged Ebro Darden to sue Drake after he leaked his DMs with the Canadian rapper. Drizzy told Ebro to die and appeared to warn him in the messages from 2020.
Ebro in the Morning, a show on Hot97, has been canceled, with its last episode airing on December 12. It comes after their beef with Drizzy, as Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez favored Kendrick Lamar over him. The Hotline Bling rapper also commented an axe emoji on an Instagram post announcing the show's cancellation.
This led to Rosenberg and Ebro taking digs at Drizzy. Moreover, they also started the Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show on YouTube, with the first episode airing on Monday, December 15. During this, Ebro shared some of the DMs Drake sent to him on Instagram in 2020. One of the messages read:
"Die slower p*ssy. We got some sh*t for you."Ebro replied:
"Relax. You're salty about losing to Kendrick. You're not mad at me. Love bro"Discussing this message on their podcast, Rosenberg told Ebro:
"It’s a good response. Honestly, I think it’s great. That’s a really good response."Ebro replied:
"He’s not mad at me. Why would you be mad at me? Mad at me for what?"Rosenberg then said:
"No, stop, he’s definitely mad at you. and you surpassed me ... Btw, if I were you, I would do what Drake would do, Sue. Feels like a threat. Feels like a threat. He said ‘Die’ and ‘We got some sh*t for you’. I’m going to court like you, Drizzy."Meanwhile, Hot97 announced the cancellation of Ebro in the Morning last week after the show ran for 19 years.

Ebro alleged that the rapper and his friend and supporter, DJ Akademiks, are "right wings". He wrote on December 14:
"Drake is “right wing” and so is sAK"Drake is “right wing” and so is sAK
Meanwhile, Rosenberg also slammed Drizzy, claiming that his actions make it hard to support him. He also asserted that he and his team will be back stronger despite the show's cancellation, writing on X:
"It's behavior like this that has made it impossible for people to defend the wack sh*t that he does ... But happy Hanukkah my one time pal .. I truly wish you well even if you're celebrating what you believe is our demise. (spoiler alert -- we're about to be much bigger now that we won't be held back by a company that is and has been completely lost ever since they bought the station!)"It's behavior like this that has made it impossible for people to defend the wack sh*t that he does ... But happy Hanukkah my one time pal .. I truly wish you well even if you're celebrating what you believe is our demise (spoiler alert -- we're about to be much bigger now
In a follow-up tweet, though, he took a dig at the rapper's fanbase, writing:
"I used to think of Drake fans as attractive women who liked to party ... now it's like weird twitch commenters who are absolutely virgins."I used to think of Drake fans as attractive women who liked to party ... now it's like weird twitch commenters who are absolutely virgins
Notably, Drizzy has never openly spoken about his political beliefs, and hence, Ebro's claims about him being right-wing are unverified.
