Infamous blogger Perez Hilton said he plans to fight Blake Lively’s “invasive” subpoena for his work and personal records — as he asked a judge to implement privacy protections after numerous media figures’ addresses were publicized in her bitter legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
The “It Ends With Us” star earlier this month subpoenaed Hilton — whose real name is Armondo Lavandeira Jr. — along with other “creators-journalists,” according to a declaration he filed Tuesday in Manhattan federal court.
The celebrity gossip blogger, 47, said he’s “in the process of finalizing a motion to quash” the subpoena that was sent to him on July 19, demanding he hand over to Lively “a broad range of documents and communications, including internal records, unpublished material, and personal correspondence.”
He said he’s since learned that “multiple other creator-journalists have been similarly targeted by [Lively’s] legal team with invasive subpoenas.”
Most of the media personalities aren’t connected to Lively’s feud with Baldoni and are only “engaging in protected commentary about a public legal proceeding,” the filing alleges.
Hilton claimed the demand for his records by the “Gossip Girl” star’s team is a “fishing expedition disguised as a subpoena.”
He is asking the judge to force Lively’s lawyers to notify the jurist before issuing any further subpoenas since court documents involving the subpoenas have included the addresses of the journalists, content creators and others not named in the case.
“These actions create an undue burden, chill free expression, and raise profound privacy and safety concerns,” Hilton claimed.
Lively, 37, launched her bombshell accusations against Baldoni, 41, in a $250 million lawsuit in December. She claimed he sexually harassed her on the set of the 2024 movie, which he directed and co-starred in.
Baldoni — an alum TV show “Jane the Virgin” — then launched a $400 million countersuit for extortion and defamation against Lively and her husband, “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds.
That suit was dismissed last month by Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Liman.
Lively is slated to be deposed by Baldoni’s lawyers Thursday.
