The New Orleans Pelicans better hope she's right.
The Pelicans traded their No. 23 overall pick Wednesday, plus their unprotected first-round pick in 2026, to move up to No. 13 and use the Hawks' selection to take Queen out of Maryland. The details are via ESPN's Shams Charania.
In the difficult West, that 2026 first-rounder could easily be a top-10 pick.

Queen is a fantastic playmaker and a solid rim defender, His swing skill is shooting.
If he can't shoot it from the outside at the NBA level, he has to peak at all his other skills to be a guy like Rockets center Alperen Sengun.

If Queen's shot develops, though, he doesn't quite need to hit in all his other abilities to be an NBA contributor.
And if his shooting rises and his skillset does, too, maybe there can indeed be a bit of Jokic to his game.
It's certainly a big risk by the Pelicans, so they better have not missed on this one.
