Pedro Neto has heaped praise on his Chelsea skipper, Reece James, and revealed the latter’s unbelievable talent following the team’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.

Neto and James were both on the scoresheet for the Blues as they notched up a comfortable win over the weekend, which cost Ange Postecoglou his job.

The duo also combined for Chelsea’s second goal on the day as James rolled the ball to Neto to hit from a free kick.

Later, James also managed to get his name on the scoresheet, netting Chelsea’s third goal of the afternoon.

The Englishman’s role in Chelsea’s second goal does not come as a surprise as he has scored and assisted a few in his time at Stamford Bridge.

Now, Neto has praised his captain and revealed the one that James is unbelievable at doing following his win at the weekend.

What Pedro Net said about Reece James

Neto wanted a shot from Chelsea’s free-kick against Forest, and allowing him to have one proved to be the correct decision in the end.

However, the Portuguese has acknowledged that James is an “unbelievable” free-kick taker, so he may not take too many more himself going forward.

Discussing his goal at the City Ground, Neto said (via Chelsea’s official club website): “Reece is an unbelievable free-kick taker and to be honest, at Chelsea and even at Wolves, I did not take many free-kicks but I asked Reece if he wanted me to take it and he said, ‘Let me see’.

“We spoke and he said he wanted to roll the ball to me, and we are really happy with the end result.”

From a Chelsea perspective, they won’t be too concerned about who is taking the free kicks as long as they keep scoring goals and winning games.
