Maren Morris Reveals Custom Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Gift With "Blank Space" Egg
Paul McCartney didn’t let Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce down.
The Beatles alum brought the sun to Madison Square Garden for the couple’s July 3 nuptials in New York City, performing the band’s 1963 classic “I Want to Hold Your Hand” live for the first time in more than 60 years, according to multiple outlets.
Indeed, the last time McCartney sang the hit track in front of audiences was in 1964, per setlist.fm. But 62 years later, Swift and Kelce took the song out of retirement to act as the perfect backdrop for the biggest milestone yet in their love story.
E! News has reached out to a representative for McCartney but has not heard back.
Swift’s relationship with the “Blackbird” singer dates back to 2020, when the pair appeared as Rolling Stone’s cover stars that November.
Six years later, McCartney reflected on how Swift’s level of fame reminded him of his own career high.
“You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame,” the 84-year-old told BBC Sounds in an interview shared to Instagram May 24. “The worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had, but I don't think she needs any advice to tell you the truth.”
But should the “Style” hitmaker ever need a few words of wisdom, he’s got her back.

“If she asked for it, I definitely would,” he explained. “I'm like the older brother to that generation, or more like the grandad, actually.”
And the respect goes both ways for the musical duo. Indeed, after McCartney released his latest album, the “Blank Space” singer re-shared his June 2 Instagram post, calling the music legend an "eternally exceptional artist” while also noting she’s "never not inspired" by him.
But he wasn’t the only performer at Swift and Kelce’s massive wedding. After all, Stevie Nicks also serenaded 1,000 of the couple’s closest family and friends at the event.

"We can confirm that yes, Stevie Nicks did perform," attendee Robin Roberts shared on Good Morning America the morning after the nuptials, though she didn't reveal what the legendary musician sang. "But it really was intimate."
And that’s a sentiment that her GMA co-host George Stephanopoulos—who also scored an invite to the wedding—echoed.
"It was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden,” he shared. “It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful. It's hard to imagine a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate."
