The New England Patriots were handed their eighth loss of the season on Sunday, as they fell to the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 at Gillette Stadium.
Throughout the game, New England allowed quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw for 295 yards and four touchdowns, which led to some changes to the Patriots' roster.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, New England is waiving cornerback Marco Wilson.
Wilson, 25, was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2021 out of Florida. The Patriots claimed him off of waivers last December.
Through 10 games this season, Wilson recorded 15 tackles and a pass defensed.
New England has to activate cornerback Alex Austin from injured reserve in the near future or lose him for the remainder of the year. They'll probably use this roster spot for Austin and have him slide back in as one of their top cornerbacks.
