The New England Patriots made the move to cut ties with Stefon Diggs and signed Romeo Doubs to a big deal to give Drake Maye a star receiver.
But many get the sense that more is needed for the young quarterback.
Could the Patriots look to draft a receiver? Sure, but what about a veteran?
We know that the Patriots are one of the teams expected to be in the Super Bowl hunt next season, so why not try to go all-in on 2026?
Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport has one option for the Patriots, and that's trying to sign Deebo Samuel.
"Samuel probably isn't going to explode for over 1,400 receiving yards or average over 18 yards a catch again," Davenport wrote. "But his versatility should appeal to Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, and Samuel showed last year with the Washington Commanders that he can still be an asset to an offense."

Samuel could be productive
Last season in Washington, with all the injuries going on around him, Deebo still managed to put up 727 yards and 5 TDs.
So, the production is still there.
Now you add him to an offense that has Doubs, Rhamondre Stevenson, Mack Hollins, and Kayshon Boutte, and now you have a decent group of weapons for Maye.
Deebo wouldn't cost much, and he would relish the chance to compete for a Super Bowl.
This move does make sense; it is just a question of whether the Patriots see any value in bringing Deebo aboard.
