Patriots' injury report rules out 3 offensive weapons for Thursday Night Football vs. Jets

The New England Patriots will be heavily favored to beat the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football to begin Week 11.

The injury report isn't doing the Pats any favors, though.

It's that time of year. The Jets will be without star WR Garrett Wilson, so maybe New England doesn't really have anything to complain about.

New England Patriots injury report

The Pats have ruled out four players for Thursday's game as of Wednesday evening.

That includes just one defender, linebacker Christian Elliss.

The big absences come on offense.

The Patriots ruled out RB Rhamondre Stevenson, WR Kayshon Boutte and TE Austin Hooper.

Stevenson's absence means another big potential role for rookie TreVeyon Henderson, who ran for TDs of 55 and 69 yards in Week 10. The No. 2 RB now, Terrell Jennings, is on the injury report as questionable with a knee injury after three limited practices.

Boutte will miss a second week with a hamstring injury. He was limited each day on the injury report but won't suit up. That allows rookie Kyle Williams to get more action again, just a few days after Williams scored on a 72-yard catch-and-run touchdown.

Hooper is out with a concussion and didn't practice at all this week. A lack of Hooper just means more certainty for Hunter Henry atop the tight end depth chart.

Drake Maye should still have plenty of weapons to work with, but the Pats will also hope that the elongated break after playing on a Thursday night will help these guys get healthy.
