The New England Patriots have what they hope is a good problem.
Second-year quarterback Drake Maye is on the rise. And three-year cornerback Christian Gonzalez is a star.
It can create an interesting dynamic, though, as detailed by ESPN's Mike Reiss in his training camp preview.
Reiss wrote that, earlier in the offseason, Maye had some trouble with throwing too many interceptions
But a few sentences later, Reiss pointed out that Gonzalez had made multiple of those picks.

Sure, Maye shouldn't throw toward Gonzalez as much.
But it's quite ironic. The star on one side of the ball is going to get the star on the other side. New England just has to hope that both stand out when the games count and they're playing against other teams, not each other.
