The Carolina Panthers are bringing in a familiar name as an undrafted free agent.
The son of a franchise legend is coming to town.
On Sunday, the Panthers agreed to sign Muhsin Muhammad III, according to NFL Network.
His father was one of the top wideouts in Panthers history.
"Moose" ranks second in Carolina history in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
The younger Muhammad is also a wide receiver. He played at Texas A&M, and in the total of his college career, he grabbed 81 passes for 1,163 yards and 12 TDs.

The Panthers have a pretty intriguing WR depth chart already.
They drafted Tetairoa McMillan in the first round, then got Jimmy Horn Jr. in the sixth.
The Panthers also return Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker, Xavier Legette and David Moore.
Thielen has been floated as a possible trade candidate. At this point, Carolina will likely do whatever it feels is best for the development of third-year QB Bryce Young.
And if that involves another Muhsin Muhammad, Panthers fans won't complain about that.
