Paige Bueckers will hope her shooting efficiency increases in a hurry.
But as far as counting stats go, the UConn legend is off to a special start to her WNBA career for the Dallas Wings.
On Wednesday night against the Minnesota Lynx, Bueckers put up 12 points, 10 assists and 3 steals.
She's only the fourth rookie in WNBA history with a line of at least 12 points, 10 assists and 3 steals, according to StatMamba.
Bueckers shot only 3-for-11 from the floor in a four-point loss, so there's plenty of room still to grow.
But the fact that she's involving her teammates and taking the ball away from the other team in addition to scoring is highly encouraging.
For those hoping to compare Bueckers to Caitlin Clark: The Indiana Fever star had three of these games in her rookie season.

Bueckers has increased her assist total in each of the first three Dallas games, from 2 to 8 to 10.
She's also gone up from 0 steals to 2 and then 3.
Next up, the Wings will be seeking their first win.
But Bueckers is moving in the right direction to get them where they want to go.
