It's not the kind of thing you expect to see in regards to a well-established coach like the Green Bay Packers' head man, Matt LaFleur.
But after Green Bay's Monday night loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the chatter began.
This was what The Athletic's Matt Schneidman wrote on X:
"I don't think it's far-fetched to say Matt LaFleur is coaching for his job the rest of the season."

Obviously, the implication here is that if the Packers play well, the head coach is safe.
If they don't, maybe he's not.
LaFleur became the Packers' coach in 2019. His records by year since then, starting with 2019:
- 13-3
- 13-3
- 13-4
- 8-9
- 9-8
- 11-6
- 5-3-1 (and counting)
He definitely started great. That was when he still had Aaron Rodgers.
It hasn't been quite as good in the Jordan Love era.
LaFleur deserves some credit for going 11-6 last season even after a Week 1 injury to Love.
But it's also now been a long time, and after two NFC title game appearances in the first two years, the Packers haven't made it past the divisional round since.
Schneidman isn't saying LaFleur is going. He's just saying the possibility is officially in play. And that's fascinating in and of itself.
