Packers’ Jordan Love and wife are expecting their first child: ‘New year, new addition’

To kick off the new year, Packers quarterback Jordan Love and his wife, Ronika Stone, announced they are expecting their first child together.

The couple announced the news on Thursday in an Instagram post that showed the two holding up sonogram photos of their unborn child, along with a Packers onesie with Love’s name and No. 10 on the back.

“New year, new addition,” the post’s caption read.

Love and Stone, who is a professional volleyball player, got married in June 2025, with the two meeting during the quarterback’s rookie season (2021).

The news comes as Love was also cleared from concussion protocol on Thursday, though Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur has opted to start third-string quarterback Clayton Tune for Sunday’s regular season finale against the Vikings.

LaFleur added that he has no intentions of playing Love against Minnesota, likely to give the former first-round selection some rest ahead of the postseason.

“If he’s the backup on game day and if something bad happened, then you’ve got not many other options,” LaFleur told reporters when asked about Love’s playing status, per ESPN. “But the intent, I would say, is not to play him.”

Love sustained the concussion during Green Bay’s 22-16 Week 16 loss to the Bears, and missed their 41-24 defeat to the Ravens the following week.

The 27-year-old said that despite feeling symptom-free last week, he was unable to pass the required tests to be cleared then.

“You’ve got to take computer tests and things like that, so you might be feeling good where you don’t have any symptoms,” Love said. “But I think the tests are all there to make sure that your brain’s working fine and you’re able to be thinking clearly.”

Across 15 games this season, Love has racked up 3,381 passing yards with 23 touchdowns, helping lead Green Bay to its third straight playoff appearance, as the Packers clinched a wild-card spot with the Lions’ Christmas Day loss to Minnesota.
