The Green Bay Packers made the NFC playoffs in 2025 despite having a rather young roster.
To improve from their No. 7 seed, and continue to compete in a strong NFC North Division, they may have some work to do in the offseason.
The premise of a new article by Packers writer Mark Oldacres is that the Packers could stand to get a little older.

He breaks down different free agent possibilities and realizes there isn't going to be tons of experience out there on the open market.
But one spot he sees that will have veterans? Defensive tackle.
And that's definitely a position Green Bay could use some help at, with Oldacres listing 10 different possibilities.
"There is a whole market to potentially find a fit from, including John Franklin-Myers, David Onyemata, Calais Campbell, Sheldon Rankins, Sebastian Joseph, Roy Lopez, Teair Tart, Larry Ogunjobi, DJ Reader and Shelby Harris," Oldacres writes.

The Packers made their interior defensive line much worse before the 2025 season when they traded away Kenny Clark in the deal to acquire Micah Parsons.
Parsons was as advertised, but there is certainly room in the DT group for improvement.
It's a fascinating premise, because defensive tackle isn't a position that casual fans necessarily notice.
But those players listed by Oldacres could all help the Packers in their own way, and with so many out there, it'd make a lot of sense for Green Bay to seek out an upgrade.
