There's an odd overlap happening in the NFL that probably isn't actually a connection but also has a very real connection.
Current Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love, and former Packers/current Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers, are the only two quarterbacks in the NFL with a curious stat.
According to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, they're the only two starting QBs in the NFL who haven't targeted a wide receiver 10 or more times in a game this season.
Is there any actually correlation here? Did Love and Rodgers talk about this on the sideline once upon a time? Probably not.
But it's still a quirky, fluky crossover between a couple of Green Bay passers.

There are different ways of looking at this, too.
The current Packers roster probably makes sense for this breakdown. There are so many receivers, but not a true top dog, so Love does a good job of spreading the ball around.
But the Steelers?
Rodgers has one clear top wideout, DK Metcalf, who they traded for this offseason and then paid a boatload of money. He's by far the best pass catcher there. Seems like Rodgers should be throwing the ball his way as much as possible.
It does seem like Rodgers would leave this list first, because of the presence of Metcalf, but who knows. Maybe he'll just keep mixing it up to stay entwined in this odd stat with Love. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing Rodgers has done.
