One of the clutchest performances of the Indiana Pacers' run to the NBA Finals was delivered by Thomas Bryant.

Now, it sounds like Bryant may be on his way out of the league.

Sportando has reported that Bryant is nearing a deal to sign with Greek club Panathinaikos.

Bryant has spent eight seasons in the NBA, appearing for five different teams since spending two collegiate seasons with the Indiana Hoosiers.

The Rochester, N.Y. native played in 56 games this season for the Pacers, averaging 6.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Panathinaikos has spent this offseason looking for a big-time center. They already sought to sign Jonas Valanciunas before that deal fell through.

Bryant is 27 years old and could potentially come back to the NBA in a year or two.

Panathinaikos plays at the highest level of basketball in Europe, the EuroLeague. It's considered the second-best hoops league in the world behind the NBA.

Bryant's high-energy, inside-outside scoring should play well in Greece.
