Boxer and influencer Jake Paul couldn’t contain his emotions as his fiancée, Jutta Leerdam, won the gold in the women’s 1,000m long track speed skating competition at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics on Monday.
Paul, 29, bawled his eyes out while hugging his mom, Pam, and Leerdam’s mom, Monique, in the stands at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium.
The Dutchwoman, 27, clocked 1:12.31 to set a new Olympic record, edging her Dutch teammate, Femke Kok, into silver after Kok had broken the record in the previous race at 1:12.59.
Japan’s Takagi Miho claimed bronze at 1:13.95.
“My baby just set the Olympic world record,” Paul wrote over an Instagram clip of Leerdam capturing the gold medal, adding, “IM SO PROUD OF YOU,” in his caption.
Paul picked up Leerdam as she bit her gold medal in another clip.

Leerdam won silver in the women’s 1,000m long track speed skating race at the 2022 Beijing Games.
She trailed Takagi that year, while American Brittany Bowe placed third.
It comes after the Olympic speed skater crashed out in the 1,000m during the Olympic trials in the Netherlands last December, which left her participation in the Winter Games up in the air.
Leerdam bounced back in the 500m by taking second place.
Paul traveled to the Netherlands to support Leerdam in her Winter Olympics trials after having his jaw broken in two places during his December loss to Anthony Joshua in their Miami fight.
The boxer underwent surgery for a broken jaw on Dec. 19.
