Samuel Basallo is the youngest hitter in Triple-A.
That hasn't stopped the future Orioles superstar from destroying pitching on the precipice of the big leagues.
On Thursday night, Basallo went 3-for-3 with a double, two home runs, three RBI, four runs and a walk.
On the season, Basallo is up to nine homers with 19 RBI. He's slugging .622.
Basallo is still just 20 years old, and he's ranked as a top-20 prospect in baseball by every major service.

Basallo's path to the majors is a bit confusing, because Baltimore already has star Adley Rutschman at catcher.
But the Orioles can't afford to waste any time.
Baltimore entered its Friday doubleheader against Boston with a 16-32 record.
The Orioles made the playoffs last season and are now the biggest underachiever in baseball.
Maybe it'll take a rising star like Basallo to spark a turnaround that otherwise may never come.
