Oregon WR Dakorien Moore ruled out vs. Iowa

Oregon will be without one of its biggest offensive weapons when it visits Iowa on Saturday afternoon.

Ducks wide receiver Dakorien Moore has been ruled out for Week 11, according to team officials. This comes after days of conflicting reports about his availability going into the road matchup. Ninth-ranked Oregon looks to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive in a tough environment.

Moore is the top target for quarterback Dante Moore in the high-flying Ducks' offense. He has developed into one of the Big Ten’s most explosive young playmakers, providing consistent separation and yards after the catch.

Moore has 28 receptions for 443 yards and three touchdowns this season. Without him, Oregon will turn to veteran receivers Gary Bryant Jr. and Malik Benson to shoulder the offensive load. Bryant has 25 receptions for 277 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

Saturday’s matchup at Kinnick Stadium features two teams ranked in the College Football Playoff’s initial top 20, with major implications for both the Big Ten race and national postseason positioning.

Oregon meets Iowa at 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage on CBS.
