Dani Busboom Kelly expressed her thoughts on the talks surrounding the Nebraska volleyball team's struggles with passing in the past two matches. The team recently defeated Oregon in straight sets, thereby extending its unbeaten streak in the season so far and not dropping a set since September 16.
The Nebraska volleyball team displayed great dominance on the court and seamlessly changed its strategies on both the offensive and defensive fronts as the game changed its pace. Harper Murray and Andi Jackson put forward strong performances over the weekend, with Bergen Reilly and Rebecca Allick playing valuable roles in ensuring the team's overall morale as they aimed for the NCAA Championship title.
However, the passing statistics of the last two matches shared a different story when compared to the Nebraska volleyball team's straight-set wins. Dani Busboom Kelly shared her thoughts about the drop in passing statistics and weighed in on whether they were because of the strong fight put up by both Wisconsin and Oregon. The former Husker shared that the team played very well on the offensive and defensive fronts, so the passing statistics were not something that worried her.
" I mean, we're putting up some pretty incredible numbers. So, I'm not too concerned about passing. I think we are playing some great jump servers. I think passing stats can be skewed in certain ways if we want to justify them. So, yeah, I'm not too worried about it. It is the only thing that people are nitpicking us about, and we're setting records offensively and Bergen's playing great," she said (0:20 onwards)Dani Busboom Kelly opens up about the Nebraska volleyball team's victory against Wisconsin and Oregon

The former Husker shared that it was one of the most challenging weeks for the team so far, as both teams put up strong performances.
Busboom Kelly lauded the Huskers for maintaining their calm in crucial situations that helped the team to clinch the victory in straight sets.
"You know, when you can go to Wisconsin and get a sweep that's really good, and I think a hot Oregon team, I know they lost to Washington, but I think they were playing really wel,l and I think it was one of the tougher weekends in the Big Ten is playing those two teams back to back," she said. The Nebraska volleyball team will be competing against Illinois on November 6 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
