Olivia Dunne celebrated her mother, Katherine Patterson Dunne's birthday in an extraordinary way. The latter turned emotional amid the special celebration of her birthday by the former LSU gymnast.
On Tuesday, November 4, Dunne shared a series of videos on her Instagram story, showing her followers the beautiful surprise birthday celebration of her mother.
The first video featured the decoration and the cake for the special day. She added a wish that read:
"Happy birthday Mama Dunne💞"

It also carried some endearing glimpses of her dinner outing with her mother. The post's caption read:

In a conversation with the Salt Lake Tribune in January this year, Olivia Dunne's mother made her feelings known about the former LSU gymnast wanting to use her social media presence to gain attention toward NCAA gymnastics. Talking about NCAA gymnastics events being broadcast on channels like ESPN and ABC, she said that it gives her daughter another chance to grow the sport.
“I think it’s an important moment for women’s gymnastics. I think coming off of an Olympic year there’s extra enthusiasm for the sport, and I think it will continue to give it the recognition that these women deserve. When Olivia started social media, she always wanted to try to bring more eyeballs to the sport of college gymnastics. It’s really gratifying for her to see the appetite for it grow and the audience grow more and more each year," said Olivia Dunne's mother.Olivia Dunne has now wrapped up her gymnastics career after her fifth NCAA season with LSU and is now focusing on growing as a social media influencer and content creator.
