Almost two years on from their initial meeting in Poland, the great Oleksandr Usyk and resurgent Briton Daniel Dubois will clash for the undisputed heavyweight champion.
Usyk dominated Dubois and claimed a ninth-round stoppage win, although the post-fight controversy over the champion being floored by an illegal low blow in round five allowed Team Dubois to spin a narrative that their man had been "robbed".
Fury went on to win both of his titanic clashes against Tyson Fury by decision. The first of those victories made the former cruiserweight king a two-weight undisputed champion.
The IBF stripped Usyk for taking the immediate rematch with Fury and Dubois emerged from the scramble for the belt after beating Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic impressively in Saudi Arabia. Upgraded from interim to full champion, Dubois then demolished Anthony Joshua over the course of five jaw-dropping rounds at Wembley last September.
Back at England's national stadium, Dubois will seek to succeed where compatriots Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have failed by winning a rematch after an initial defeat to Usyk.
That's not the only Ukraine vs. UK contest taking place in London on Saturday night, while an old foe of Dubois will seek to upset another home favourite.
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois 2 undercard
Here's a breakdown of all the action on the Usyk vs. Dubois 2 card.
Lawrence Okolie vs. Kevin Lerena
- Division/Weight: Heavyweight
- Okolie record: 21-1
- Lerena record: 31-3
- Belts at stake: WBC silver heavyweight title.
Former WBO cruiserweight champion Okolie makes the first defence of his WBC silver heavyweight title against Kevin Lerena, whose previous outing at a UK stadium ended in a dramatic loss to Dubois.
Lerena floored Dubois three times during a wild opening round, where the home fighter injured his knee. Dubois managed to turn the contest around and blasted the southpaw to a third-round knockout loss. On his most recent step up to world level, Lerena was slightly unfortunate to drop a unanimous decision to Justis Huni on the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou undercard.

Okolie is ranked No. 1 by the WBC, although a shot at the Usyk vs. Dubois winner isn't immediately imminent, given Agit Kabayal is the organisation's interim champion.
Nevertheless, this fight is an opportunity for two former cruiserweights to put themselves in the wider top-15 conversation. Okolie has certainly embraced his new weight class, as he tipped the scales at 262 pounds on Friday — 62 pounds in excess of his old cruiserweight limit.
Daniel Lapin vs. Lewis Edmondson
- Division/Weight: Light Heavyweight
- Lapin record: 11-0
- Edmondson record: 11-0
- Belts at stake: IBF Intercontinental light heavyweight title
Team Usyk member Lapin takes on Southampton's Edmondson in an intriguing battle of undefeated 175-pounders.
Expected a highly skilled and technical contest to ebb and flow over the 10-round distance as knockout power is neither man's forte.
However, Lapin's four career stoppages have come in his past five fights. He went the full 10 against previously unbeaten Frenchman Dylan Colin on the Usyk-Fury II undercard last time out.
Edmondson has won three inside the distance, but wins over Dan Azeez and Oluwatosin Kejawa show him to be in fine recent form.
Vladyslav Sirenko vs. Solomon Dacres
- Division/Weight: Heavyweight
- Sirenko record: 22-0
- Dacres record: 9-1
- Belts at stake: N/A
The first Ukraine vs. UK contest is an intriguing heavyweight matchup.
Sirenko, 30, has an imposing record with 19 of his 22 wins coming by way of knockout. On closer inspection, it's been amassed against moderate opposition.
Former GB amateur Dacres is stepping right back into the fire with another knockout artist after David Adeleye wiped him out inside a round last December. But opportunity knocks in the heavyweight division's eternal game of snakes and ladders.
Adam Hamed. vs. Ezequiel Gregores
- Division/Weight: Welterweight
- Hamed record: 5-0
- Gregores record: 3-24
- Belts at stake: N/A
Hamed, the son of British boxing icon 'Prince' Naseem, continues his professional education against the tough and ever-willing traveller Gregores.
Three of Hamed's victories so far have come by knockout, despite all his fights only being scheduled four-rounders.
Only four of Gregores' losses have come before the final bell, although two of those have been in his past three contests, suggesting the 31-year-old's durability could be on the wane.
