Palm Beach prices are Marvel-ously on the rise — thanks, unintentionally, to Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.
A retired Marvel Entertainment CEO’s home — five minutes from Mar-a-Lago — is now asking $24.95 million, Gimme Shelter has learned.
That’s a $6 million increase over its its last asking price of $18.95 million just seven months ago.
The oceanfront townhouse, which was built in 1981 and recently re-designed with new interior decor, is at 2 Sloans Curve, a gated community known as the Residences at Sloans Curve.
The seller is Isaac “Ike” Perlmutter and his wife Laura. The Marvel mogul and Mar-a-Lago member is a big supporter of President Trump. The Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Foundation has also contributed to Trump’s privately funded White House ballroom.
“Palm Beach is experiencing the kind of momentum and energy this November that we have not seen since the COVID pandemic transformed our skyline and turbocharged our economy,” said listing broker Margit Brandt of Premier Estate Properties.
“The exodus of high-earners from New York to South Florida right now is both an overnight phenomenon over the past few months, since the results of the mayor’s race Democratic primary, and especially in the past week since the election, but we believe it will also be a slow burn involving full family relocations,” Brandt said.
The Perlmutters bought the ritzy residence for $10 million in April 2023.
A veteran of the 1967 Six-Day War between Israel and the neighboring nations of Egypt, Jordan and Syria, Perlmutter bought Marvel in 1998 and raised its profile with films like “Spider-Man,” “Daredevil” and “Iron Man.”
He was also a major donor to President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, and was an outside adviser to Trump’s Department of Veterans Affairs during his first presidential term, according to reports.
Perlmutter first listed the Palm Beach property for $21 million in December 2023, just eight months after he bought it.
At 6,300 square feet, the home features five bedrooms, 5½-baths and ocean views from all the main rooms. There’s also an eat-in chef’s kitchen with double-height ceilings, a formal living room with a skylight and a bar area with custom built-ins.
A spiral staircase leads to private rooms including a main bedroom suite with a dressing area, two spa-like baths, and a covered terrace overlooking the Atlantic.
Amenities for residents include private beach access, multiple tennis courts, a gym, a yoga studio and a conference room — all just minutes from Worth Avenue.
