‘Obsession’s’ blood-soaked Nikki set loose at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

She’s every guy’s worst nightmare.

‘Obsession‘ character Nikki has been spotted at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of the park’s Halloween Horror Nights event.

New video shared to social media shows the possessed and possessive character walking through the park covered in blood.

“Why don’t you love me?” I feel like you don’t love me as much as I love you. Like it’s not mutual!” she screams, taking lines directly from the box office hit.

In the film, main character Bear, a lonely, desperate young man, makes a wish on the “One Wish Willow” a toy he bought at a magic shop, that his close friend Nikki would love him more than anyone.

To his surprise, the wish comes true, but he’s stuck with a violent, maniacally obsessed girlfriend — far more than he bargained for.

Last month, Universal revealed that the character would be part of their annual Halloween Horror Nights events, where fans can come face-to-face with their favorite creepy characters.

The inclusion raised eyebrows with some fans, who pointed out that Nikki’s character is not a villain, but rather a victim who’s “obsession” was forced upon her.

Despite the controversy, actress Inde Navarette, who played Nikki in the film, supported the character’s inclusion at Hollywood Horror Nights, saying she wants to portray the character at the park.

“I want to do a couple days where I’m Nikki,” Navarette told Cosmopolitan. “Like at Disneyland with Johnny Depp being Jack Sparrow. That would be so much fun!”

Fans were split on the park’s depiction of Nikki.

“Sooooo they just turned her into an angry shouting lady,” one fan commented on X.

“Damn they got the hair completely wrong. It doesn’t even look like her,” another fan wrote.

“Yeah, seeing her walking around the park is way creepier than I expected, a third fan wrote.

Written and directed by YouTube star Curry Barker, ‘Obsession’ was an instant box office hit, grossing $505 million against a $750,000 budget, making it the fifth-highest grossing horror film of all time.

Also debuting at Halloween Horror Nights is a tribute to late rockstar Ozzy Osbourne.

Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando feature a Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness haunted house. At the Hollywood location, the house features a nod to the infamous 1982 incident in which Osbourne bit the head off a bat on stage.

Footage of the haunted house shows a giant animatronic bat taking revenge on Obsbourne and holding his bloody, severed head.

Osbourne’s late wife Sharon fully supported the tribute, working closely with Universal to develop the haunted house.

“His music throughout every room is at the heart of it all,” Osbourne told Entertainment Weekly. “Ozzy would have absolutely loved it, and I’m sure he’s looking down smiling.”
