NYC wannabe rapper who butchered cat in satanic livestream learns his fate

A wannabe rapper who butchered a helpless house cat online in a twisted satanic ritual learned his fate Monday — after admitting to the sick killing inside his Bronx apartment.

David Mosley, 26, also known under the alias Church of Ububal, was sentenced to two years in prison after posting disturbing photos — including one of a motionless cat lying in a pool of blood — to his Instagram page in October 2025.

The nutjob, who posted the “sacrifice” online on Oct. 16, 2025, had vowed to do another killing on Instagram — telling followers to “be there or be square” — before cops stepped him and arrested the soulless monster.

Mosley first appeared with the cat, who was alive, in an Instagram post on Oct. 11, 2025.

But just a little over a week later, Mosley then posted another photo with a cat lying motionless in a pool of blood, prosecutors have said.

Detectives then searched his home and testing later confirmed the blood to be feline blood. When questioned by cops, Mosley claimed that he had found the cat after it died.

Sources had said at the time that the wannabe Bronx rapper beat the cat to death to promote his small-time music career.

“This defendant committed a crime that shocked and outraged the community,” Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said in a statement. “For reasons known only to him he tortured and killed a cat and then posted disturbing images of the dead animal on social media. He has been held accountable for what he did.”

Mosley pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty to animals on July 10.

Bronx Supreme Court Justice Laurence Busching also barred Mosley from owning any pets for the next 10 years, a term that was set in the plea deal.
