Conference foes looking to get back on a winning track meet Saturday as North Carolina A&T hosts Rhode Island.
The Aggies are still winless on the season and coming off a 42-14 setback at Campbell last weekend. They have used three quarterbacks in four games due to injuries but the running game has been their biggest issue, with A&T averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and 77.8 yards per game to 6.1 and 208.8 for their opponents.
Rhode Island (2-2) is coming off a surprising loss at Stony Brook that dropped the Rams from No. 8 to No. 19 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25. URI led that game 17-14 late in the first half but was outscored 42-7 the rest of the way as Stony Brook rushed for 321 yards and seven touchdowns on the day.
The Rams will need to see more from dual-threat QB Tyler Budge, who has completed just 54.6 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and four interceptions
