John Cena met several active and former WWE wrestlers at Saturday Night’s Main Event who had come to watch his final match. One of them, Mark Henry, recently shared an update on social media about how he felt watching The Never Seen 17 one last time from the front row.

Taking to X, Henry tweeted that he had some of the best moments of his career with Cena and felt honored to be ringside with him. Adding to this tweet, he also noted that he had no tears left after The Franchise Player walked out of the arena with his shoes in the ring.

“No tears left!”

Mark Henry had been expressing his excitement about The Franchise Player’s retirement match for quite some time and even updated his fans that he had front row tickets ahead of SNME.

Mark Henry says he didn’t want to take anything away from John Cena’s spotlight

The World’s Strongest Man and Cena feuded for the WWE Championship back in 2013, with The Never Seen 17 emerging victorious at Money in the Bank. During this feud, Mark Henry turned on Cena and hit him with the World’s Strongest Slam right after asking the crowd to cheer for him.

The former World Heavyweight Champion was wearing a salmon pink blazer at the time, which fans remember to this day. One fan said he expected to see Henry in the same outfit for John Cena’s final match. In response, the WWE legend wrote that he didn’t want to make it about himself.

I didn’t wanna make it about me!

The record-setting 17-time WWE World Champion faced Gunther in his retirement match. The Ring General had promised that he would defeat Cena by making him give up and go against his creed of never giving up. In the end, the Austrian actually made Cena tap out, shocking many fans.
