Many Toronto fans argued that its momentum, with Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Davis Schneider stepping up in key moments, shouldn’t be disrupted by Bichette's potential return. Others believe that if he’s truly healthy, his presence and leadership could give the Blue Jays offense a needed lift against elite World Series pitching.

Toronto manager John Schneider and the Blue Jays medical staff will ultimately decide whether to activate Bichette for the series opener. They'll balance the potential upside of his bat against the risk of aggravating his knee.
