Okay, so Aaron Judge is probably not going to need a replacement in the lineup for the New York Yankees anytime soon. But the star outfielder is out with an elbow injury, and the club is still battling for a postseason spot.
Enter, Ryan McMahon, who played in his second game as a member of the Bronx Bombers. Traded from Colorado on Friday, McMahon has two hits and scored a run, with a double, while driving in two to help the Yankees to a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

— MLB (@MLB) July 27, 2025The win for the Yankees avoided a three-game sweep. McMahon hit seventh in the New York lineup, and he now has three hits in the first two games with the club.

Carlos Rodon picked up the win for the Yankees. He is now 11-7 on the season. Rodon allowed just three runs over 5.1 innings while striking out eight batters on Sunday.
New York is now 57-48, and still remains in control of one of three American League wildcard spots. New York will remain at home and take on the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.
