Indiana football's 21-game winning streak is in jeopardy against unranked Nebraska. Anthony Colandrea and the Cornhuskers' offense gave Indiana troubles in the first half.
Colandrea’s dual threat play style has given Indiana a tough challenge on defense. Nebraska has 216 yards on offense already and is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Cornhuskers have been phenomenal at keeping the Hoosiers off the field. Indiana only had one offensive drive in the first half with a possession time of 7:41. Only a fraction of the first half.
Indiana had a troublesome time sustaining any drives on a Nebraska defense that had been flying around and matching the Hoosiers' physicality.
Nebraska has yet to defeat a ranked opponent under Matt Rhule, but everyone knows it is any given Saturday. A missed field goal at the end of the half by Kyle Cunanan kept the score at 10-3.
The Hoosiers receive the second half kickoff. Will they keep their winning streak alive, or will they lose their first game since December 20, 2024?
This is the same Indiana team who went 16-0 last season, which hasn't been done in college football in 132 years. Curt Cignetti's team needs to come out looking better in the second half. Otherwise, the Hoosiers might be tumbling in the next AP Top 25 poll.
