A New Jersey teacher has been charged with allegedly paying a 16-year-old boy for nude photos — and offering him $100 for sex, according to authorities.

Jack Wilder, a 26-year-old history teacher at a charter school in Plainfield, was hit with a slew of charges involving multiple minors — after cops found disturbing chats on his phone, as well as porn of kids as young as young as 14, the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey announced Thursday.

He allegedly chatted with a 16-year-old on Snapchat last February and said he would pay him for nude photos, according to the prosecutor’s office.

That Jersey City teen sent pictures of his genitals for just $10, according to the complaint, which did not say how the pair first met.

The teen also told cops that Wilder offered $100 to come to his house after midnight and have sex, according to the complaint. The boy said he did not go.

Wilder was stopped by investigators as he landed in New York from a flight from got off a flight from Iceland last July — and found with disturbing images of “naked pubescent males” on his phone, according to the document.

The history teacher — who lived in Hoboken and then moved to Somerville — waived his right to remain silent to deny chatting with teens online or having sex with minors.

However, investigators later executed a search warrant that turned up more child sex abuse material, including a video of a 14-year-old having oral sex with another minor, according to his complaint.

Investigators also found multiple sexually explicit conversations between him and other minors on Snapchat, federal prosecutors said.

Chat logs revealed by law enforcement also showed Wilder asking another minor who identified themselves as 17 years old if he could pay them for sex. COURT DISTRICT OF NEW JERSEY

One chat shows Wilder allegedly asking for nude images — saying he would only “pay to suck” — even after being told he was chatting to someone who was just 17, with phone records confirming he’d used his Snapchat at the time, according to the complaint.

He was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and two counts of enticement of a minor. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Officials did not detail what school the teacher was employed at nor if any action had been taken by his bosses. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney representing him.
