Controversial streamer Nina Lin has claimed that she has not been permanently banned from Twitch. For context, Nina Lin garnered attention on December 17, 2025, when reports surfaced suggesting that her official Twitch channel had been permanently suspended. The update came 15 days after she got banned from the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform for the third time in six weeks.
On December 2, 2025, a message appeared on her channel informing viewers that it had been temporarily suspended due to a violation of Twitch's terms of service (TOS) or community guidelines. However, on December 17, 2025, the message changed and no longer stated that her channel was temporarily suspended.
The updated message reads:
"This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."This same message appears on channels of content creators such as Steven "Destiny" and Herschel "Guy," better known as "Dr DisRespect," who are currently permanently banned from the platform.
On December 18, 2025, Nina Lin responded to reports about her permanent ban via an Instagram Story. She wrote:
"Ain't no way mfs making s**t up now. Yall are obessed dw I'll be back should I do a trailer just cuz of this"Netizens on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit had a lot to say about Lin's claims.
"her channel is 100% indefinitely banned. indefinite bans have always been permabans on twitch in the past. i bet she is lying. she has low moral character & is new to streaming." Reddit user Shot_Distance9047 commented. "You can hear how gangsta she is" Reddit user clem82 remarked. "translation of the comment, currently with Dan, after a week or two, once he had enough, I will be unbanned, and will make a trailer with him in it" Reddit user Espoir888 stated.Jasontheween and FaZe Adapt react to reports about Nina Lin's permanent Twitch ban
During a livestream on December 18, 2025, FaZe Clan members Jason "Jasontheween" and Alexander "Adapt" shared their thoughts on reports about Nina Lin's permanent Twitch ban.
While FaZe Adapt claimed to have seen reports about Lin's permanent ban several times, Jasontheween wondered whether the New Yorker's channel had been indefinitely suspended:
"Perma ban! I don't know. Is it indefinite? They banned her and unbanned her, like, three times, and then she got hit with the perma."As of this writing, Twitch has not clarified whether Nina Lin has been permanently banned from the platform.
