Goodbye, darling. I’ll see you in hell.
“The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev dressed up as Tiffany from the 1998 horror movie, “Bride of Chucky” — seemingly mocking her recent split from Shaun White.
Dobrev, 36, looked unrecognizable as she posted pictures on Instagram donning a black to platinum blonde wig, thin eyebrows, a heavy smoky eye makeup look, and dark lipstick.
She also got a fake tattoo of Chucky’s name over a pierced heart, and carried a Chucky doll with her.
The “Degrassi” actress dressed as Tiffany while her friend, Earica Barstein, was her “lover,” Chucky.
Dobrev posted a video on Instagram with a montage of her and Barstein getting ready and at the Halloween party. “The making of Chucky & his bride. Till death (and good lighting) do us part),” she wrote.
Fans took to the comments, believing that her costume idea was a jab at her ex-fiance, White.
“The layers to how funny and brilliant this costume is are not lost on me. Get ’em, girl!,” one person wrote.
“Glad to see Nina found another one to be Chucky than the redhaired guy who was intended at first.. Savage that she went with it anyway and just had a waaay better costume partner 🔥❤️👏 You go Girl!,” another person wrote.
News broke in September that Dobrev and the former snowboarder, 39, ended their five-year relationship.
“It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another,” a source close to the couple told People at the time.
The “Reunion” star unpinned her engagement post on Instagram, but it is still on her Instagram feed.
The “Love Hard” star was also seen without her five-carat engagement ring at the premiere of “Eternity” during the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.

White, 39, and Dobrev were moving in two different directions for a while, a source alleged to the Daily Mail. The insider also claimed that the pair had issues adjusting to dating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They fell in love [during the pandemic] and thrived, but once they got out, like many relationships both in the celebrity world and in the real world, something changed,” the source said.
“The way people managed their lives, what they thought was important, and everything in between became different. And all that takes a toll.”
Dobrev and White briefly met in 2012 during an awards show, but started dating in 2019. The pair went public with their relationship after Dobrev posted a tribute to White at the end of his Olympic career.
“Nina’s just been so supportive and so amazing through this whole process for me,” White told People in 2022. “Through the pandemic, she was a lifesaver — she really made that time in my life special.”
White proposed to Dobrev in New York City in 2024 by inviting her to a fake CFDA/Vogue dinner with former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Instead, the proposal was an intimate dinner with friends and family at The Golden Swan restaurant in the West Village.
“He made the invite look so legitimate,” Dobrev said to Vogue at the time.
