Nicole Kidman is planning an exciting new year following her divorce from Keith Urban.
“She is refreshed and optimistic about the new year,” a source told People of the Oscar winner in comments published Monday.
The source also said the “Big Little Lies” star is “looking ahead to a busy and exciting year professionally too, with several projects coming up.”
Of the former couples’ daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, the insider added, “Nicole spends a lot of time with her girls. She loves family time.”
“They’re all settling back in to their routine” the insider divulged. “Things have been calm.”
A rep for Kidman did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Kidman’s “Practical Magic” sequel is expected to drop in September, and she’ll appear in the third season “Lioness” alongside Zoe Saldaña this year, as well as “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” with Elle Fanning and “Scarpetta” with Jamie Lee Curtis.
The prolific actress also has a third season of her hit HBO Max series “Big Little Lies” on the horizon.
Kidman and Urban, both 58, were married for nearly two decades before their stunning split over the summer.
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told us at the time. The actress allegedly “did not want the separation and was trying to save things” prior to their separation.
They finalized their divorce earlier this month, with both parties waiving spousal and child support in the matter, and the country star earning “every other weekend” with their daughters.
Kidman and Urban had been living apart since the start of the summer 2025. Subsequent speculation that Urban was involved with guitarist Maggie Baugh were shut down by a friend in October.

Earlier this week, a report claimed the country star had moved in with a new love interest. “I hear he [Urban] has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting Mom,” the source alleged.
“People think they are even living together,” the source claimed. “Look, teen girls love their dads, so there’s a reason they’re making it three against one.”
The outlet also reported that Urban was working on a breakup album in Nashville that “might be an uncomfortable retelling of the unravelling of their love story” — and that he’s “serious” with a new girlfriend, said to be up-and-coming country singer Karley Scott Collins, 26.
Collins herself reacted to dating rumors with a firm denial via social media on Sunday. The singer shared a screenshot of a headline reading, “Keith Urban moved in with Karley Scott Collins? Fresh speculation amid divorce.”
Atop the screenshot, she wrote, “Yall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,” adding a laugh-crying emoji.
The “Perfect Couple” star, meanwhile, appears committed to looking ahead — she was seen posing arm in arm with her daughters while taking in New Year’s Eve fireworks in a sweet social media post earlier this month.
“Looking forward into 2026,” she wrote atop the photo.
