Nicole Kidman is making the most of her time away from Hollywood.

The “Babygirl” actress, 57, turned heads on Monday, April 28, with a daring Instagram video in which she appeared on a French balcony in nothing but a black bodysuit.

“Love from France,” Kidman captioned the post with a kiss emoji. The clip was set to Lorde’s newest single, “What Was That.”

But the video also saw the Oscar-winning actress being surprisingly playful as she posed on the windy balcony with waves breaking down on the French shoreline behind her. Her blonde hair blew around in the breeze, and Kidman even turned around to put her captivating black bodysuit on full display.

“She’s so crazy,” one of Kidman’s Instagram followers commented. “I love her.”

“Goddess Nicole, I love you!” another wrote. “And I hope that your husband fully appreciates the fact that he is the luckiest man in the world.”

Kidman has been married to musician Keith Urban, 57, since 2006. The couple have two daughters together, Faith, 14, and Sunday, 16.

“The queen of Australia,” a third fan commented. “Wonderful.”

“You look absolutely stunning,” added a fourth.

Kidman’s bold Instagram video on Monday came weeks after the “Aquaman” actress teased that she was taking a much-needed career break following an exceptionally busy and chaotic 2024.

“I was much more out there last year; this year I have ‘Holland,’ I have ‘Nine Perfect Strangers,’ and then I’m off for the rest of the year,” she told The Hollywood Reporter on March 9 during the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas. “So, oh well!”

Last year, Kidman starred in the rom-com “A Family Affair,” the animated musical “Spellbound” and the erotic thriller “Babygirl” on the big screen. She also appeared in the Amazon Prime limited series “Expats,” the Netflix murder-mystery miniseries “The Perfect Couple” and Season 2 of “Lioness.”

This year, she only has the Amazon Prime mystery “Holland” and Season 2 of the popular Hulu series “Nine Perfect Strangers.”

Sadly, Kidman’s mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, also passed away in Sept. 2024 at the age of 84. The actress left the Venice Film Festival early after learning of her mother’s death.

Kidman was at the Venice Film Festival to receive the Volpi Cup award for Best Actress for her performance in “Babygirl,” and the film’s director, Halina Reijn, ultimately accepted the award on Kidman’s behalf.

“Today, I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after that my beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has just passed,” Reijn read from a statement Kidman wrote. “I’m in shock, and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her. She shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.”

However, while the “Bombshell” star hoped to take the most of 2025 “off” after a crazy 2024, she will have to make an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival to receive this year’s Women in Motion Award on May 18.

Kering, which is an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival and sponsors the Women in Motion program, announced its decision to choose Kidman on Monday.

“Kering and the [Cannes Film Festival] are proud to announce that [Nicole Kidman] will receive the 2025 Women In Motion Award,” the French luxury group wrote on Instagram.

“A major figure in cinema,” it added, “Nicole Kidman has built a career marked as much by her artistic audacity as by her virtuosity and transformative portrayals that have reshaped the representation of women on screen.”
