Weeks after Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban finalized their divorce, the Big Little Lies star proved she was swapping out Valentine's Day romance for a sweet Galentine's Day message.
Newly-Single Nicole Kidman Celebrates Galentine's Day After Keith Urban Divorce
Nicole Kidman is feeling the love from her girls.
Weeks after finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban, the Big Little Lies star proved love was still very much in the air, kick-starting Valentine’s Day weekend by giving a shoutout to the women in her life.
To mark Galentine’s Day—a.k.a. the day before Valentine’s Day honoring female friendships—Nicole shared a snap of herself in bed wearing a pink striped button-down and flashing a subtle smile at the camera. She captioned the simple Feb. 13 message, “Happy Galentines.”
And pals Michelle Pfeiffer and Rachel Zoe sent the love right back with the Dangerous Liaisons star, commenting, “Happy Galentines my friend,” while the stylist chimed in with a “Happiest.”
In the months since her breakup from Keith was confirmed, Nicole has certainly had the women in her life—including her and Keith’s daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—to lean on. And make new memories with.
In fact, the trio, joined by Nicole’s sister Antonia Kidman and other loved ones, embarked on for what the Oscar winner referred to as a “once in a lifetime adventure” to Antarctica in late January, sharing a glimpse at their time cruising through the snowy wonderland.

And though Nicole’s been keeping busy in the months since confirming her 19-year marriage was coming to an end—she stars in the shows Kay Scarpetta and Margo’s Got Money Troubles plus the long-awaited Practical Magic 2 later this year—her focus has been on her daughters. As part of their divorce finalization in January, Nicole and Keith settled on a parenting plan that sees the Moulin Rouge actress having custody of their daughters for 306 days while the “Long Hot Summer” spending every other weekend with the girls, amounting to 59 days of custody.
“I’m raising teenage girls right now, and it’s fascinating,” Nicole told Ariana Grande in an Interview magazine article in November. “I think they have an armor that we didn’t get, or that I certainly didn’t get, because there was no social media. The very, very young now have already gone, ‘We know exactly how to handle this.’”
She emphasized, “They don’t take a lot of things personally. They shrug it off.”
