Nick Aldis to ban 3-time World Champion from WWE SmackDown due to one massive reason? Why it is possible

Paul Heyman came up with yet another master plan last week on WWE SmackDown when he recruited Drew McIntyre to his WarGames team. The week prior, McIntyre was suspended by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis for attacking a referee.

The Scottish Warrior was only able to return because of a loophole in the WarGames contract that allowed anybody from the blue-branded show to be recruited. Aldis was furious after Heyman revealed his choice, and could ban McIntyre once more this week.

He could explain that McInyre was suspended due to disciplinary issues and only returned because of the loophole. He could ban the former World Heavyweight Champion from appearing on SmackDown, which would still allow him to appear on RAW.

Aldis' ban could be permanent, forcing Drew McIntyre to return to WWE RAW in what would be a mid-season brand switch.

However, the aforementioned scenario remains speculative for the time being, and it remains to be seen how things turn out on the blue-branded show tonight.

Nick Aldis was taunted by a former world champion last week on SmackDown

Immediately after returning from suspension and attacking Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre signed the WarGames contract to join Paul Heyman's team. The Scottish Warrior has been at odds with Nick Aldis for months and took a shot at the SmackDown General Manager when making his way backstage last week.

He mocked the suspension order given by Aldis, furthering tensions between himself and The National Treasure.

"Suspended? Aldis, you better send the freaking army," McIntyre said.

McIntyre will team up with Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar to face rivals Roman Reigns, The Usos, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk inside the WarGames cage at Survivor Series. It remains to be seen how things turn out and whether he will be involved in the WarGames advantage match on the upcoming episode of RAW.
