NFL teams have hit the ground running as the 2025 season got off to a ripping start.

Opening weekend may be a tough act to follow, but Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season has several promising matchups fueled by narratives. Following a primetime matchup on Thursday, the second Sunday of the 2025 season will feature 12 afternoon matchups, a slate headlined by a rematch of Super Bowl LIX.

Before the Philadelphia Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs later in a nationally televised late-afternoon game, Sunday's early afternoon schedule features five divisional matchups, including Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson's return to the Motor City to face Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions.

The AFC East will be busy Sunday as the New England Patriots travel to Florida to face the Miami Dolphins in a battle of teams looking to avoid a 0-2 start to the season, and the New York Jets host the Buffalo Bills in a game that looks to be much more exciting than initially believed.

Elsewhere around the league, DK Metcalf will face his former team as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Seattle Seahawks, while Cleveland Browns QB Joe Flacco is set to face the Baltimore Ravens for just the second time in his career.

As mentioned above, there are three late afternoon games, but none loom larger than the Super Bowl rematch, which doubles as Kansas City's home opener. The 0-1 Chiefs will look to avenge February's loss, while the Eagles aim to build on the momentum from their opening-day win over the Dallas Cowboys. The matchup between Philadelphia and Kansas City will be available to a national audience in all markets.

Below are the full coverage maps for the NFL schedule in Week 2 in addition to a list of major TV markets and the CBS and Fox games that will be presented on Sunday.
