Saturday brought us some interesting headlines from the Saints making moves for injuries, Jerry Jones trying to be optimistic about the Micah drama, Ravens add depth for Derek Henry, and more here.

Saints sign C/G Shane Lemieux

The New Orleans Saints made a roster move up front on Saturday, signing free agent offensive lineman Shane Lemieux and placing guard Nick Saldiveri on injured reserve, according to Adam Schefter.

Lemieux, who has experience at both guard and center, gives the Saints added flexibility as they deal with early-camp injuries along the interior.

Jerry Jones gives a doomed response to Micah Parsons drama

Meanwhile, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones addressed the ongoing uncertainty around Micah Parsons, and his response wasn’t exactly comforting.

When asked about Parsons’ situation, Jones told reporters, “Don’t lose any sleep over this,” per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

While the comment was likely meant to calm nerves, it may add more fuel to the speculation about the star linebacker’s future.

Ravens add depth at running back

In Baltimore, the Ravens signed veteran running back D’Ernest Johnson, adding depth to a backfield that has seen several moving pieces this offseason.

Johnson, who spent last season with the Jaguars after four years in Cleveland, was officially signed Saturday, per Adam Schefter.

Chargers catching charges

And in Los Angeles, Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested Friday night on a felony charge for possession of assault weapons, Schefter confirmed.

As previously reported by TMZ, Perryman was allegedly pulled over with two AR-style rifles and three handguns in his trunk. Two of which were not compliant with California law.

He remains in custody and is expected in court on Tuesday.
