NFL star shoots hit shot with Sydney Sweeney after she launches racy lingerie line

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua publicly flirted with Sydney Sweeney in a cheeky social media comment.

The “Housemaid” actress told Cosmopolitan in an interview on Thursday that she’s looking for a man who is “Athletic and outgoing and funny.”

“I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me,” she added.  “And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man…”

The NFL star, 24, responded to the interview quote by Complex on X, writing, “Love skydiving.”

Fans on the platform noticed. “Pudney. Let’s make it happen,” one person quipped, while another wrote, “Let’s go Puka.”

“Athletic, funny, and loves family? She’s literally describing the ‘Perfect Man’ checklist.The bar is high, but we love a sporty queen!” remarked a third.

“Damn it. Now I have to fight Puka Nacua,” a fourth joked, with a fifth chiming in, “Shooting your shot! I respect that.”

The comments come on the heels of Sweeney’s Syrn lingerie launch earlier this week. The “Euphoria” bombshell, 28, told the mag that the line of bras, corsets and other lingerie essentials isn’t “for guys” and that she’s “using it to empower other women.”

Sweeney — who has most recently been linked to Scooter Braun — also explained in the interview that she kept a lengthy past relationship under wraps for a reason.

“I was in a relationship for a very long time, for seven and a half years, and I never talked about it,” she said, seemingly referencing her romance and engagement to Jonathan Davino, which ended last year.

“I was very private. No one would ever see us,” she added. “I think it’s important to have some things for myself.”

While the “White Lotus” actress said she understands she’s a “public person,” she said pointed out that she’s still “in [her] 20s.”

“I’m still figuring out love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Nacua may not have been the first athlete to shoot his shot with the “Christy” star — professional athletes have reportedly been “constantly” sliding into her DMs, and according to the Sun, Braun finds it “incredibly disrespectful.”

The source told the outlet earlier this month that Sweeney allegedly ignores the messages and blocks senders.
