Did Peyton Manning and Tom Brady unretire while nobody was watching?
It certainly feels like the clock has been turned back 12 years and the best quarterback rivalry of a generation has been restored.
Alas, that’s not the case. And there is no rivalry yet between second-year pros Drake Maye and Bo Nix.
But, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Maye’s Patriots and Nix’s Broncos share the NFL’s longest active winning streak at seven games and their identical 8-2 records all but guarantee a playoff berth. Maybe they will meet in the AFC Championship Game, like Brady’s Patriots and Manning’s Broncos did in 2013 and 2015.
Until then, they will settle for continuing to surge up The Post’s NFL power rankings for Week 11.
1. Colts 8-2 (2)
Jonathan Taylor had one of the best rushing days in NFL history, ripping off 244 yards and three touchdowns, including the walk-off game-winner in a 31-25 overtime win against the Falcons in Germany. Was it the best individual performance in an NFL international game ever? Daniel Jones threw for 255 yards and survived three fumbles by only losing one.
2. Eagles 7-2 (4)
GM Howie Roseman’s magic touch strikes again: In his first game with the Eagles, trade-deadline acquisition Jaelan Phillips recovered a late fumble that all but sealed a 10-7 victory against the Packers. The Eagles still had to survive a missed 64-yard field goal as time expired. DeVonta Smith’s 36-yard touchdown catch made the difference as Saquon Barkley was held to 60 rushing yards.
3. Rams 7-2 (5)
Matthew Stafford’s third straight game with at least four touchdown passes and no interceptions gave him an NFL-leading 25 for the season, 20 in the last six games and over 400 in his career. Kyren Williams added two touchdown runs for the Rams, who scored touchdowns on six of their first eight possessions in a 42-26 rout of the 49ers.
4. Seahawks 7-2 (6)
The Seahawks poured it on with 21 first-quarter points and 38 first-half points in a 44-22 blowout of the Cardinals. DeMarcus Lawrence returned two fumbles for touchdowns during the first half as part of a defensive effort so dominant that Sam Darnold only had to attempt 12 passes. Seattle has won nine straight meetings dating to 2021.
5. Patriots 8-2 (7)
With plenty of Tom Brady jerseys in both teams’ colors in the stands, TreVeyon Henderson ran for touchdowns of 69 and 55 yards and Drake Maye threw two touchdown passes as a big-play Patriots offense turned out the lights on the Buccaneers. The 28-23 victory allowed the Patriots to complete a four-game sweep of the NFC South this season.
6. Broncos 8-2 (8)
Will Lutz’s tie-breaking field goal in the final seconds of the third quarter proved to be the final score in a 10-7 victory against the Raiders. After Daniel Carlson missed a potential game-tying kick, the Broncos chewed the final 4:26 off the clock for their seventh straight win. Nik Bonitto’s 1.5 sacks led a six-sack defensive effort.
7. Lions 6-3 (9)
Dan Campbell took over play-calling from offensive coordinator John Morton and the Lions responded with a 44-22 win against the Commanders. Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes and Jahmyr Gibbs found the end zone three times. Coming off a loss, the win ensured that the Lions still have not endured back-to-back defeats since October 2022.
8. Bills 6-3 (1)
Not only did the Bills fail to pry away Jaylen Waddle with a trade offer, they had to watch Waddle score a touchdown in a 30-13 loss to the Dolphins. The Bills also were shredded for 197 yards on the ground as their seven-game winning streak in the rivalry was snapped despite Josh Allen’s 306 passing yards.
9. Buccaneers 6-3 (3)
Baker Mayfield threw for 273 yards and three touchdown passes, including two to Tez Johnson, in the loss to the Patriots. The Buccaneers failed to convert Tykee Smith’s fourth-quarter end-zone interception into points when Mayfield’s fourth-and-3 pass at the 27-yard line didn’t move the sticks. The defense surrendered three touchdowns of 50-plus yards — not counting a fourth 54-yard reception.
10. Chargers 7-3 (14)
Keenan Allen became the Chargers’ all-time leader with 956 career catches, Cameron Dicker made three field goals to improve to 50-of-53 all-time at SoFi Stadium and Khalil Mack tackled Aaron Rodgers for a safety in a 25-10 win against the Steelers. Kimani Vidal ran for 95 yards and a touchdown that was a dagger after a red-zone stop.
11. Packers 5-3-1 (10)
12. Chiefs 5-4 (12)
13. 49ers 6-4 (13)
14. Bears 6-3 (16)
15. Ravens 4-5 (19)
16. Jaguars 5-4 (11)
17. Steelers 5-4 (15)
18. Texans 4-5 (21)
19. Vikings 4-5 (18)

Kene Nwangwu’s 99-yard kickoff return touchdown and Isaiah Williams’ 74-yard punt return touchdown came only 36 seconds apart and sparked a 27-20 victory against the Browns. Justin Fields completed just six passes for 54 yards but one was a 42-yard touchdown catch by Breece Hall. Head coach Aaron Glenn has sandwiched his first two career wins around a bye.
28. Giants 2-8 (26)
The Giants fired head coach Brian Daboll after blowing a 10-point fourth-quarter lead by allowing two touchdowns in the final four minutes of a 24-20 loss to the Bears. It was their fourth double-digit lead surrendered in a road loss this season. Jaxson Dart suffered a concussion, and Russell Wilson looked washed, so is Jameis Winston starting this week?
