The end of the 2025 season for the Cincinnati Bengals was not a great one. Aside from the sluggish finish despite having an outside chance to sneak into the playoffs, the team was also dealing with some major quarterback questions.

Specifically, Joe Burrow's comments at the end of the year brought speculation that he might ask to be traded, or the Bengals would entertain a trade of their franchise QB. Those rumors have been dismissed often, but they're still lingering.

However, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on the Burrow trade rumors. For what should be the final time, Rapoport completely shut down those rumors, indicating Burrow is going nowhere anytime soon.

NFL insider firmly shuts door on Joe Burrow trade rumors

"Bengals fans, do not freak out. I do not expect Joe Burrow to be traded," Rapoport said. "I do expect teams to call the Cincinnati Bengals after it appeared that Burrow expressed some discontent with Cincinnati late in the season."

While Burrow, if he were to be available, would draw significant interest and bring in multiple first-round picks for the Bengals, such a trade isn't happening.

The Bengals are sticking with Burrow as their starter, and there's no reason why they should have any other plans this offseason.

His initial feelings that sparked this debate were just a momentary frustration for Burrow, not a true sign of his feelings about playing for the team.

Staying in Cincinnati alongside Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Chase Brown, and an improving offensive line is where Burrow is best off staying at.

While the Bengals need to fix their defense this offseason, the offense with Burrow at the helm is Super Bowl caliber.

Bengals fans shouldn't be worried about a potential departure of their franchise QB this offseason, as this report from Rapoport makes it clear that the Bengals are not expected to trade Burrow.

While anything is possible, and there are sure to be more trade ideas, rumors, and speculation with Burrow this offseason, fans shouldn't be concerned about Burrow leaving the team this offseason.
