NFL Insider hints at Browns taking polarizing QB in NFL Draft

3 hours ago 1

The Cleveland Browns enter the NFL Draft needing help at several spots. Specifically, they need a long-term answer at quarterback. And while they may not find that answer in this draft, NFL insider Albert Breer loves one in particular that he believes would fit well in Cleveland.

"I like the idea of Tyler Shough going to the Browns," Breer writes. "I just see the physical ability there, and some skill-set similarities to presumed starter Joe Flacco, where you could just slide that piece into the offense you’re already building. But that’s just me talking."

Shough has been a polarizing name in this year's draft cycle. Some analysts believe he is worthy of a first-round selection while others think that type of talk is a product of the draft process being too long. Regardless of what camp you fall in, it's almost guaranteed that the Browns will take a quarterback, and we'll find out soon enough if it will be Shough.
