The NFL Combine is considered by many to be the first NFL event of a new season.

The Combine is situated between the Super Bowl and the next new league year starting. The annual event gives draft hopefuls the chance to show off in front of scouts, coaches and front office members from NFL franchises.

Every year, fans look forward to seeing how the household names perform, and without fail, some under-the-radar players emerge after excelling in an event or two. The NFL Combine has come and gone, and the next time we will see these prospects will either be their respective pro days or the 2026 NFL Draft itself in April. 

The Sporting News tracked results, updates, and highlights from all of the 2026 NFL Combine action in Indianapolis. Here are the players' measurements, workout highlights and the biggest storylines below.

    Sunday, March 1 -- Offensive Linemen

    4:56 p.m. -- The action on Sunday is done, with the final event from the Combine being the offensive linemen bench press on Monday. 

    3:55 p.m. -- Official 40 times from the last group were released. Iowa's Logan Jones was upgraded to a 4.90 40, giving him the fastest time for an offensive lineman.

    3:25 p.m. -- The 40s at the 2026 NFL Combine are in the books. Fano and Iheanachor remained as the fastest offensive linemen, falling 0.04 seconds short of making the top 10 for fastest linemen ever at the Combine. 

    3:07 p.m. -- The final group of offensive linemen are starting their workouts and drills with the 40-yard dash. 

    1:43 p.m. -- From the first group of offensive linemen, Spencer Fano and Max Iheanachor ran the fastest 40s tied at 4.91 seconds.

    1:35 p.m. -- In non-OL news, the wide receivers are going through bench press. Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson repped 225 lbs. 26 times, one shy of tying the Combine record for a WR. 

    1:15 p.m. -- The offensive linemen are off and running with the first group starting its 40-yard dashes. 

    10:10 a.m. -- The last day of the televised Combine workouts is upon us. The offensive linemen will go through workouts and on-field drills on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. ET. They will bench press on Monday, the last overall event of the Combine.

    6:56 p.m.: Saturday at the combine is about to conclude with quarterbacks like Ty Simpson and Diego Pavia throwing.

    6:40 p.m.: Carnell Tate ran the 40-yard dash, but his 4.54 time was a little disappointing.

    6:17 p.m.: Brenen Thompson and Zavion Thomas are the first two receivers to run under 4.30.

    6:10 p.m.: Bryce Lance, Trey's brother, ran an impressive 4.34 on his first try.

    5:32 p.m.: The second group is finally about to begin. Diego Pavia and Ty Simpson appear as though they are only throwing.

    4:48 p.m.: The first group of quarterbacks and wide receivers are done, so we move on to the second group.

    3:46 p.m.: Indiana's own Omar Cooper Jr. had a solid showing, running a 4.43 in his second attempt.

    3:40 p.m.: Deion Burks appears to have bested Coleman with a 4.31.

    3:25 p.m.: The best 40-time for wide receivers so far belongs to Jeff Caldwell, who ran a 4.32 on his first try.

    3:10 p.m.: The first half of wide receiver 40-yard dashes are about to begin.

    2:45 p.m.: Taylen Green broke the records for best vertical and broad jumps by a quarterback in the combine.

    The previous QB vertical (40.5") and broad (10'9") jump records at the Combine were set by Anthony Richardson in 2023.@RazorbackFB QB Taylen Green just broke both of those records with a 43.5" vertical and 11'2" broad jump.

    2:17 p.m.: This year's running backs were faster than running backs in any combine prior.

    1:39 p.m.: Mike Washington was the fastest runner at the combine this year, and he was emotional after his final run.

    1:32 p.m.: Love followed that up with a 4.36 time, which is now his unofficial time.

    12:01 p.m.: Today is the much-anticipated quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers day. Fernando Mendoza already measured in this morning, and his numbers are similar to that of Matt Ryan.

    Friday, February 27 -- Defensive backs, tight ends

    8:29 p.m. -- Friday's workouts are wrapped. The Combine will resume on Saturday with its most highly anticipated day with quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs. 

    8:18 p.m. -- Saddiq's official time was improved to a 4.39. That sets the record for for the fastest 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. 

    7:49 p.m. -- Oregon TE Kenyon Saddiq tight the record for the fastest TE at the Combine with a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

    7:35 p.m. -- Eli Stowers dominated the jumping events ahead of the 40-yard dash. He had a 45.5" vertical, which is the highest for a tight end since 2003.

    7:34 p.m. -- The tight ends have started to run the 40-yard dash. 

    6:25 pm. -- The safeties are done running and all of the defenders that will run the 40-yard dash have. After the defensive backs finish up their on-field drills, it will be the tight ends' turn to run the 40. 

    6:15 p.m. -- Lorenzo Styles' official Combine time was improved to a 4.27-second 40-yard dash. 

    5:48 p.m. -- Sonny Styles impressed with a 4.46 on Thursday night. His brother Lorenzo Styles topped him running a 4.28 unofficial on both of his attempts.

    5:44 p.m. -- The on-field drills for the cornerbacks have ended and now the safeties are running their 40s. TCU's Bud Clark started the group with a 4.48.

    4:11 p.m. -- The first group of cornerbacks have transitioned into their on-field drills. Pride's 4.32 was confirmed and made official. 

    4:00 p.m. -- Pride's second run was better than his first, improving his unofficial time to a 4.32.

    3:34 p.m. -- Missouri DB Toriano Pride Jr. set a new fastest time for the 2026 Combine at a 4.36.

    3:21 p.m. -- Georgia DB Daylen Everette turned in the first sub 4.40 40-yard dash of the 2026 NFL Combine.

    3:18 p.m. -- D'angelo Ponds nearly leapt out of the building with a 43.5-inch vertical jump, which is even more impressive given he is 5-9.

    3 p.m. -- The defensive backs are about to go through their drills.

    1:18 p.m. -- Miami's Carson Beck is expected to throw at the Combine, and also met with the Dolphins while in Indianapolis, per Joe Schad. Meanwhile, Penn State QB Drew Allar did not have a formal interview with Miami, also per Schad

    12:51 p.m. -- George TE Oscar Delp will not go through the Combine due to liability issues. Through a routine X-ray it was found that he played the entire 2025 season with a hairline fracture in his foot, per Zach Klein. The tight end is expected to be cleared by the Bulldogs' Pro Day. 

    11:47 a.m.: Indiana CB D'Angelo Ponds has an interesting measurements combination, as he is just 5'9" but has pretty big hands.

    10:43 a.m.: Ty Simpson revealed to the media that he met with the JEts, Steelers and Cardinals, among others. He's also very confident in his abilities.

    10:11 a.m.: LSU's Garrett Nusmeier told the media that his injury last year really impacted his ability to play the position.

    Thursday, February 26 -- Defensive Linemen, Linebackers

    7:49 p.m. -- Reese's official time was also changed to a 4.46 so the Ohio State teammates tied as the fastest linebackers. 

    7:40 p.m. -- Styles official time was registered at a 4.46. He was followed by Arvell Reese and Kaleb Elarms-Orr at a 4.47, and Anthony Hill Jr. ran a 4.51.  

    7:35 p.m. -- Ohio State LB Sonny Styles, who set a record with his vertical jump among linebackers, ran a 4.47 40-yard dash, tied for the fastest among his position.

    7:14 p.m. -- TCU LB Kaleb Elarms-Orr got the linebackers started with a 4.47 40-yard dash. 

    6:47 p.m. -- Styles had a 11'2" broad jump. His broad jump was impressive, and was the fourth-best all-time, per the NFL. His vertical? Styles posted the the best vertical jump for a linebacker ever.

    6:11 p.m. -- Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles was listed at 6-4, 243 lbs. for the 2025 season. He registered a 43.5 inch vertical jump that turned heads.

    5:50 p.m. -- Bailey posted a 4.54 unofficial on his second attempt. Upon review of his first attempt, the official time was updated to 4.50 seconds, and it was the fastest for the defensive ends. 

    5:01 p.m.: Woah, Texas Tech's David Bailey with a quick 4.51 on his first attempt. It looked like he stumbled on the start a bit, too.

    5:00 p.m.: Duke's Vincent Anthony Jr. gets us started in this second group of defensive lineman running the 40, and he gets a 4.85 unofficial.

    4:51 p..m: A big vertical jump number for Oklahoma DT Gracen Halton: 

    Oklahoma DT Gracen Halton posted a 36.5” vertical jump, the third highest of any DT at the combine in at least the last 20 years.

    3:39 p.m.: Texas A&M's Albert Regis runs a much faster 4.88 on his second attempt, and Zane Durant's 4.76 still stands as the top 40 time so far.

    3:12 p.m.: Florida's Caleb Banks runs a 5.05 unofficial first 40 after a couple of false starts. At 6-foot-6, 327 pounds, that's not a bad time for his size. 

    3:00 p.m.: OK folks, drills are about to get rolling here for the placekickers, defensive linemen and linebackers! Who are we most looking forward to seeing?

    Banks isn't a first-round lock just yet, but he could vault himself there with more impressive numbers like this in Indy.

    11:44 a.m.: Speaking of short arms, Bain and another potential first-rounder in Texas A&M's Cashius Howell would have the shortest arms taken in the first round since 1999(!): 

    At 30 7/8" and 30 1/4" arm length, Rueben Bain and Cashius Howell would have the shortest arms for an EDGE rusher drafted in the first round since at least 1999.

    Prospects descended on Indianapolis for the NFL Combine starting Sunday, Feb. 22, but on-field drills begin Thursday, Feb. 26 and run through Monday, March 2.

    • Thursday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m ET.: Defensive linemen/place kickers/linebackers— NFL Network, Fubo
    • Friday, Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. ET: Defensive backs/tight ends— NFL Network, Fubo
    • Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. ET: Quarterbacks/receivers/running backs—NFL Network, Fubo

    NFL Network will once again be the broadcast home for combine, with live coverage beginning Thursday afternoon for defensive lineman, place kickers and linebacker workouts.
