If you’ve been missing that certain supernatural something that only the Duffer Brothers can deliver, this week brings some relief in the form of The Boroughs, the new series on Netflix that Matt and Ross Duffer executive produced. Also arriving this week to Peacock is Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, which is a complete cut of both Kill Bill films, assembled exactly as Quentin Tarantino originally intended. And on Paramount+ Premium, the Showtime series The Chi returns for its final season. On Sunday, you can also check out Netflix’s first-ever Formula 1 race, and Prime Video is streaming this weekend’s NASCAR race on Sunday, too.

New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: The Boroughs, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, The Chi + More
This weekend, there’s plenty to binge, whether you want a mysterious TV show or an epic, 4+ hour-long movie or something else in between. On Netflix, you can tune in to the new, star-studded sci-fi series The Boroughs, which features a murderer’s row of actors of a certain age (retirement age, that is). On Peacock, if you have four hours and thirteen minutes to spare you can watch Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair starring Uma Thurman as The Bride, a woman who seeks vengeance against the man who left her for dead, the titular Bill (David Carradine). And on Paramount+ Premium, the great series The Chi is dropping the first episode of season 8, which will be its last.
New on Netflix May 21: The Boroughs
The Duffer Brothers are back – as executive producers – with a new Netflix series, and this time, it’s not kids who are saving their town from supernatural terror, it’s a group of retirees. The Boroughs, which stars Alfre Woodard, Geena Davis, Alfred Molina, Bill Pullman, Clarke Peters and Denis O’Hare, is set at a retirement community where the residents find themselves battling an “otherworldly threat.” All eight episodes of the series are out now.
New on Paramount+ with Showtime: The Chi (Season 8)
The Chi season 8 premieres May 22 on Paramount+ Premium, marking the beginning of the end of the Lena Waithe-created series. This season, which stars Jacob Latimore, Birgundi Baker, Luke James, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Hannaha Hall, and Jason Weaver, will be the show’s last, new episodes will drop weekly on Showtime and Paramount+.
New on Peacock May 22: Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
This week marks the arrival of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair to Peacock. The film combines Quentin Tarantino’s 2004 martial arts classics Kill Bill: Volume One and Kill Bill: Volume Two into one single film that’s exclusively streaming on the platform. (You can also catch almost all of Tarantino’s films on Peacock starting this month. Everything from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction to Jackie Brown and Inglourious Basterds are now streaming.)
