The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27+ showed up in China's 3C database with 45W charging support back in September, and now another certification is backing that up. A couple of safety certifications list the phone with a 15V/3A rating, which works out to 45W.
Between them, the two certifications cover pretty much every version of the handset, from the global SM-S956B and the Korean SM-S956N to the US SM-S956U, the Chinese SM-S9560, and the SC-52H headed to Docomo in Japan. In other words, it looks like the S27+ will charge at the same speed wherever you buy it.
Samsung Galaxy S27+ new certification
That's the same 45W you get with the Galaxy S26+, which means Samsung's Plus models are set to stay at that speed for a sixth generation in a row, ever since the Galaxy S22+. The vanilla Galaxy S27 isn't getting a bump either, since its own certification last week pointed to the same 25W as the Galaxy S26. The Galaxy S27 series is rumored to return to the usual January/February launch window, so we shouldn't have to wait too long for all of this to be officially confirmed.
