New 1A No. 1 in Kansas high school football

There is a new No. 1 in Class 1A of Kansas high school football this week. Jackson Heights replaced Conway Springs at the top spot after a loss by Conway Springs last week.

The other top-ranked teams in each classification remained the same, as KSHSAA.com revealed the entire Top 5 for each on Monday. Those No. 1 teams include Manhattan (6A), St. Thomas Aquinas (5A), Kapaun Mt. Carmel (4A), Andale (3A), Southeast of Saline (2A), South Central (eight-player, Division I), Axtell (eight-player, Division II) and Weskan (six-player)
