Nelly Korda’s fans didn’t get to see her Halloween costume this year, but that didn’t stop some from celebrating in her style. The World No. 2 golfer took to Instagram on Saturday, November 1, to share a story showing fans who dressed up as her for Halloween.
In the photo, Emily Elaine O’Brien, her husband Chris and their daughter recreated Korda’s signature on-course look. Emily shared her family photo on Instagram with the caption:
"Happy Halloween! Nelly Korda and her caddies 💚🏌🏻♀️⛳"While Korda skipped the Halloween fun this time, her sister Jessica Korda joined in with her family. Jessica posted a series of photos dressed as Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, while her husband and son, Grayson, wore Pooh costumes. One of the pictures also showed Nelly in a casual outfit spending time with her nephew. Jessica captioned the post, “October camera roll.”
Last year, the Korda sisters celebrated Halloween together, with Nelly Korda dressing up as Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Jessica’s family as the turtles.
Korda has been away from competition for a few weeks now. Her last appearance came earlier in October at the LOTTE Championship at Hoakalei Country Club, where she finished tied for fourth at 14-under, just three shots off the lead. She posted rounds of 69, 67, 69, and 69 to earn $117,177 in prize money.
The 27-year-old will return to action in December at the Grant Thornton Invitational, teaming up with Denny McCarthy. Her sister Jessica will also make her long-awaited return to competition at the same event after nearly three years.
How has Nelly Korda's 2025 season been so far?
Nelly Korda’s 2025 season has been consistent, though quieter than her record-breaking 2024 run that saw her win seven titles and rise to World No. 1. She hasn’t secured a victory this year but her steady performances have kept her among the LPGA’s top contenders. So far, she has six top-five and eight top-10 finishes, which currently place her at World No. 2.
Korda began her season with a runner-up finish at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and followed it up with another strong week at the Founders Cup. She stayed solid through the spring with respectable results at the Ford Championship, JM Eagle LA Championship and Chevron Championship, before picking up a top-five at the Mizuho Americas Open. Her best result came at the U.S. Women’s Open where she finished runner-up at five under par.
Throughout the summer, Korda added several steady finishes, including fifth place at the Women’s Scottish Open and top-20 results at major events like the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and Evian Championship. She later placed inside the top 10 at both the CPKC Women’s Open and the Kroger Queen City Championship, before closing her most recent start at the LOTTE Championship with a tie for fourth at 14-under.
