Nelly Korda drops 3-word message for launch of her custom $155 shoes in major collaboration

Nelly Korda teed up the first round of the season-ending 2025 CME Group Tour Championship on Thursday, November 20. On the same day, she announced the launch of her custom shoes from one of the world's biggest sneaker brands.

As one of Nike's loyal athletes on the golf course, the former World No. 1 crafted her own shoe with the company that retails for a whopping $155. In a recent post on her Instagram Story, she shared images of her wearing the shoes during the pro-am at The Annika last week, along with a simple message.

The LPGA Tour sensation wrote (via Instagram @nellykorda):

"Launch day!!! LFG!!!"

The shoe features a white, red, and yellow color-scheme as an ode to Nelly Korda's star sign - Leo. The gold chain on the outside of the shoe with charms bears special meaning to the Olympian.

The Nike swoosh charms are accompanied by charms of smiley faces and tennis rackets. It represents her positive attitude and her ode to the sport of tennis, a field in which her parents and brother excelled.

Nelly Korda talks about why her new custom shoe is important

Growing up, a majority of Nelly Korda's role models were tennis players, not just because her parents were tennis professionals, but also because of watching them on television. Having observed Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, she wanted to be a Nike athlete just like them.

The American professional golfer signed with the company in 2023. Earlier this year, she sat down with Nike's design team and decided to incorporate several personal elements into the project.

Not only did Korda launch an incredibly unique golf shoe, but she also hopes that what she's been doing with Nike can inspire the next generation of female golfers and athletes.

"But I think that’s like the coolest thing about what we do, is like the girls in the crowd right now, they’re looking up to all of us. We’re their role models.
